Discover the legacy of Vaugoin, a family of master silversmiths with a history dating back to the 19th century in Vienna. For generations, Vaugoin has been renowned for its exquisite handcrafted silverware, specializing in meticulously designed tableware and elegant cutlery.

Founded by Carl Vaugoin in 1847, this distinguished silversmith's atelier has a rich tradition of producing luxurious, handcrafted table settings. With a history of excellence, the Vaugoin family received multiple awards at the 1873 Vienna World Exhibition, establishing their reputation for exceptional craftsmanship.

Over the years, Vaugoin's expertise expanded as they partnered with renowned Polish entrepreneur Ladislaus Jarosinski, enhancing their collection with heavy, hand-forged cutlery. As a result, the company became known as L. Jarosinski & J. Vaugoin. Their dedication to quality and artistry continued to shine through, even during challenging times, such as World War I and the dissolution of the monarchy.

In 1929, Karl Vaugoin took the helm in the third generation, and the collaboration with the Vienna Workshop under Josef Hoffmann further solidified their place in the world of luxury silverware. Vaugoin's masterpieces graced exhibitions in Paris, Brussels, and beyond.

The post-World War II era saw the creation of a sterling silver replica of the Donnerbrunnen fountain, a gift from Austria to the Soviet Union during the signing of the Austrian State Treaty in 1955. Hans Vaugoin, the fourth-generation leader, expanded the business to include a wholesale line of fine silverware and small accessories.

The fifth-generation custodians, Victor and Jean-Paul Vaugoin, have continued the family's tradition of excellence. Notably, they crafted exquisite replicas of Cellini's golden Saliera for Queen Elizabeth II's 1969 state visit and the Eternal Light Lamp for the Great Synagogue in Jerusalem, designed by architect Dr. Alexander Friedman.

Today, Vaugoin remains a symbol of timeless elegance, with their masterpieces adorning the tables of royal families and collectors worldwide. Experience the legacy of Vaugoin, where each piece represents a rich heritage of craftsmanship and artistry that has endured for generations."
